Stickers can identify, personalise, label or simply add character to a surface. MXkits offers decal and printed sticker options for vehicles, equipment, gifts and other projects. The best sticker format depends on where it will be applied. A small indoor label has different requirements from a vehicle decal or a motorsport graphic exposed to repeated washing and abrasion. Tell us the intended surface and use so the project can be assessed correctly. The 21 mil layered material used for our motocross graphics is a specialist construction and should not be assumed for every sticker product.

Prepare a clear sticker brief

Size and quantity

Provide the finished width and height in millimetres or centimetres. If only one dimension is fixed, say whether the artwork should keep its original proportions. Include the required quantity, as a single decal and a larger batch may need different preparation.

Colour and artwork

Send the cleanest artwork available. Vector artwork is preferred for logos, lettering and shapes that need sharp edges at different sizes. A small screenshot may not contain enough detail for quality reproduction. State whether the sticker needs a coloured background, a shaped cut line or separate lettering, and only provide material you are authorised to use.

Application surface

Describe whether the sticker is for glass, painted metal, plastic, a vehicle panel or another surface. Surfaces should normally be smooth, clean, dry and free from grease, wax and silicone before application. Textured, heavily curved or contaminated surfaces can affect adhesion and should be discussed before ordering.

Design approval and timing

When custom design work is included, a proof is supplied before production. Check spelling, dimensions, colours and layout carefully. Production normally takes 3 to 5 business days after payment, receipt of all required project details, and design approval where required. Delivery after dispatch may take up to 14 calendar days.
