The IRON AXIS kit gives a Honda CRF a distinct grey black presentation that feels considered rather than generic. IRON AXIS fit and personalisation
Honda plastics vary enough that a universal outline would compromise the result. IRON AXIS is therefore rebuilt on the template matching the submitted model and year. Capacity, rider name and race number complete the brief, allowing the personalised areas to be sized for the actual panels.
21 mil layered motocross material
The print layer uses aggressive 6 mil adhesive film with air-release channels, then receives a clear 15 mil overlaminate. Together they create an approximate 21 mil construction. This layered build is intended to protect colour during off-road use, including exposure to sunlight, regular washing, dirt, roost and contact from riding gear.
Compatible kit coverage
The goal is a connected IRON AXIS finish across all suitable panels. Coverage generally reaches the radiator shrouds, front and side number zones, airbox, fenders, fork protectors and swingarm. The rider name and race number are part of the design, not separate generic labels placed on top.
Preparation and colour note
Lay out the IRON AXIS pieces before fitting and verify that every panel is clean. Initial contact should be light enough to correct position; final pressure comes after edges and reference points agree. Moderate heat can assist tight curves, but should not replace careful alignment. Monitor settings cannot represent physical ink and laminate perfectly.
