STEEL SURGE approaches Honda motocross graphics with a black charcoal palette and a clean, rider-led identity. Instead of filling every surface with text, the composition leaves useful breathing room around the name and number. This makes the bike recognisable in a paddock, on a start gate or in photographs.
STEEL SURGE fit and personalisation
Honda plastics vary enough that a universal outline would compromise the result. STEEL SURGE is therefore rebuilt on the template matching the submitted model and year. Capacity, rider name and race number complete the brief, allowing the personalised areas to be sized for the actual panels.
21 mil layered motocross material
Approximately 21 mil of material sits between the printed face and prepared plastic: 6 mil of aggressive adhesive media below and 15 mil of clear protective laminate above. Air-release channels help control the first placement. The outer layer then provides the main defence against ordinary scuffing, roost, sun and cleaning.
Compatible kit coverage
A complete STEEL SURGE layout connects the Honda’s major panels, including the shrouds and number areas, with matching treatment for compatible airbox, fender, fork and swingarm pieces. Name and number are designed into the kit. Additional artwork should be supplied in a clean format and with the right to use it.
Preparation and colour note
Before STEEL SURGE is fitted, the Honda bodywork should be free of grease, wax, silicone and adhesive residue. Mark useful alignment points and avoid forcing a piece that has drifted off position. Low, controlled heat helps with curves. Slight screen-to-print colour changes are part of the physical production process.
